Chiara Corbetta-Rastelli, MD

Dr. Chiara Corbetta-Rastelli joins the Maternal-Fetal Medicine & Reproductive Genetics Division as an Assistant Professor, continuing a longstanding connection to UCSF. After earning her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, she attended UCSF School of Medicine and remained here for both residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship. During fellowship, she served as an Administrative Chief Fellow and developed a clinical research focus on vasa previa, alongside a strong commitment to teaching and mentorship.

Dr. Corbetta-Rastelli will also pursue additional training with our Multidisciplinary Approach to the Placenta Service (MAPS) Program. We are especially pleased that she has chosen to remain at UCSF as she begins the next phase of her career in academic medicine.
