Why ObGyn: I always had a feeling that I'd end up in Ob/Gyn as I have been active in the reproductive justice space since high school and was inspired constantly by the incredible Ob/Gyns at Planned Parenthood. However, what really made me fall in love with the field during med school was the relationship-centered care - being able to treat patients across their whole reproductive lifespan and helping people navigate through some of their highest highs and lowest lows.
Why UCSF: I was looking for a program that roots itself in reproductive justice, health equity, and excellent clinical training, and UCSF is the program that I felt most embodied those values altogether. Beyond that, I went to Berkeley for undergrad and love the Bay and am excited to be able to come back here!
