Sonia Badheka, MD

Dr. Badheka grew up in a small beach town in Southern California before moving to the Bay Area for college. She was immediately drawn to the culture and diversity of the Bay Area. After completing medical school and residency, she returned to the Bay Area in 2015 to begin practicing as an OB/GYN.

Dr. Badheka finds her career in OB/GYN deeply fulfilling because it allows her to help women feel comfortable and well-informed about their reproductive health throughout all stages of life. Her goal is to provide personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.

After more than 10 years in private practice, Dr. Badheka is excited to provide hospital-based care in an academic setting, where she can continue serving her community while also engaging in teaching.

Dr. Badheka lives in the East Bay with her husband and dog. In her free time, she enjoys being in nature, spending time with friends and family, and trying new restaurants.
