Traci Ito, MD

Associate Professor

Dr. Traci E. Ito is a gynecologist and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon specializing in the treatment of complex pelvic conditions such as fibroids, pelvic pain, and large ovarian cysts. She has extensive experience caring for patients who have undergone multiple prior surgeries and is dedicated to creating personalized care plans for individuals who have been treated by numerous providers before seeking her expertise.

Dr. Ito is actively involved in research, with an ongoing project focused on managing bleeding during fibroid surgery. She also has a strong interest in exploring video-based surgical education as a future research endeavor.

Dr. Ito earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University, completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at George Washington University, and pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of Louisville.
