Research/Clinical Interests

Dr. Sawaya’s main research program is in cervical cancer screening with particular interest in novel population-based strategies. He is the director of the Colposcopy and Cervical Dysplasia Clinic at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Sawaya's clinical services include colposcopy, cytology follow-up, on-site cryotherapy, consultation, and referral for other surgical services related to cervical dysplasia.
