Residency Program

ABOUT ME

I entered medical school motivated by the privilege of interacting with patients on such an intimate level, and this remained steadfast as it became time to decide on a specialty. It was midway through my third year rotation that I realized how much of a perfect fit Ob/Gyn was. I was excited and humbled by the opportunity to provide longitudinal medical and surgical care for my patients while forming meaningful relationships and helping them through vulnerable times.

Given my background in public health and commitment to caring for underserved women, I knew that I wanted to be at program that incorporated these values in their approach to medicine. The ethos of UCSF’s program is truly unique and completely resonates with me. Their emphasis on patient advocacy and social justice, along with the compassionate group of residents and mentors committed to women’s health creates a training environment that I am beyond excited and honored to be a part of.

Outside of work, you can find me just barely making it up and down a basketball court or spending time with friends and family doing almost anything. As someone new to the Bay Area, I am looking forward to exploring all that San Francisco has to offer, especially the pick-up games, trendy restaurants, and diverse culture.
