Residency Program

About Me

I entered medical school intending to become a surgeon because I wanted to provide my patients with definitive treatments. At the same time, I began to explore advocacy though partnering with organizations in Baltimore City and working with resilient and inspiring women as patients and colleagues. These experiences shifted my career goals to Obstetrics and Gynecology and I realized that I want to devote my life to caring for underserved women.

I am honored to train at UCSF and join this community of skilled clinicians, researchers, mentors and educators in all aspects of women’s health. I believe the residency program’s commitment to social justice and serving our diverse community makes UCSF an ideal place to learn.

After growing up in the Bay Area and spending the last decade on the East Coast, I am thrilled to return home for residency. Outside of residency, I spend my free time hiking the California coast and testing my biking skills on the hills of San Francisco. I also love to spend time with friends and family, listen to live music, and discover new restaurants in the city.
