Department Administration

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences has 225 School of Medicine academic and professional staff and over 80 medical center staff performing a myriad of administrative, management, information systems, academic, research, training and patient care responsibilities. All of the administrative and financial activities of the Department are directed by Executive Director Dixie Horning.

At the senior management level, responsibilities for clinical administration are separated into two functional areas in order to more effectively manage the clinical enterprise. Ann McEnhill, Finance Director, manages financial planning and reporting, strategic and business planning, and billing and accounts receivable enhancement. James Bair, Clinical Administrative Director, oversees day-to-day operations of multi-site clinical practices and ensures compliance with institutional and agency regulations, quality assurance, risk management and human resources.

Jane Meier, Management Services Officer for SFGH, provides oversight of all research, clinical and educational activities at that location. Ann McEnhill is Finance Director. She leads the team that manages our department's financial and purchasing operation. Eric Ormsby is Research Enterprise Director for the department, providing post-award services for the Center for Reproductive Sciences and our clinical and translational science faculty. Judy Young is the Assistant Director of the National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health. She oversees the daily operations of the CoE including the Women’s Health Resource Center, local community outreach & education programs, collaborations with local and national partners and the academic and community partnership program. Brenda Kittredge is the department Strategic Analyst. Brenda focuses on long-range financial planning and organizational development for the department to maximize department operations. Brian Auerbach is Communications and Technology Manager for the department and the National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health. He is also Principal Editor and Production Manager for our websites, all department publications and podcast productions.
