2016 Department of Reproductive Endocrinology, Massachusetts General Hospital. Helped create a database to study factors contributing to success of infertility treatment in Massachusetts.
2015-2016 Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. Performed quality improvement research aimed at lowering Cesarean section rates at a major academic medical center.
2015-2016 Medstro and New England Journal of Medicine. Worked as an intern and editor for social media platform aimed at improving communication amongst physicians and trainees.
2013-2016 Division of Endocrine, Diabetes, and Hypertension, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Investigated sex differences in bone loss putting females at elevated risk of fracture.
2012-2016 Harvard University Pre-Medical Tutor. Served as a tutor and mentor for students interested in careers in healthcare.
2013-2015 Iora Health. Worked as an intern in newly established primary care clinics and performed research investigating the role of shared medical appointments in primary care.
2012-2015 Senior Director, Crimson Care Collaborative. Served as a junior clinician, site representative, and then senior clinician and senior director for two of the sites of Harvard Medical School’s network of student-run free clinics. Worked primarily at a site specializing in care for women experiencing homelessness. Helped to develop a group visit curriculum and nutrition and diabetes classes for the clinics.
2010-2012 Department of Psychiatry, New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Medical Center. Investigated neuropsychiatric, biological, social, and environmental factors contributing to psychiatric illness.
2008-2010 Senior Thesis Research, Harvard College. Investigated the treatment of shell-shocked officers during World War I.
2008-2009 Harvard Initiative for Global Health, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Performed research on brain atrophy in patients with HIV.
