The goal of this Fellowship is to develop the next generation of transdisciplinary researchers at UCSF focused on decreasing the global burden of preterm birth.
The core components of this program are designed to meet the needs of each fellow:
- Salary support, dedicated research and education funds, annual travel stipend
- Academic, research and leadership training
- Career development workshops offered in conjunction with the Center for AIDS Research (CFAR)
- Strong research and career mentorship emphasizing the collaborative, transdisciplinary approach necessary to achieve impact on complex conditions such as prematurity
