About Me

My interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology began after being exposed to the lack of reproductive healthcare in my grandparents’ rural community in East Africa. Those same health disparities were reflected in underserved areas in Northern California during my clinical experiences as a medical student. I knew that as an OB/GYN I could use my personal experiences and authentic commitment to serve others to provide longitudinal and holistic reproductive care for women in similar communities. I hope to continue to understand the various aspects of women’s health and build meaningful, trusting relationships with my patients.

UCSF physicians demonstrate their commitment to patients through quality healthcare, advocacy, and research. This hospital offers an amazing training environment with faculty and staff who are dedicated to the growth of their trainees, universal promotion of diversity and inclusion within the workforce and patient population, and an array of social justice and global health opportunities. Transitioning from the role of a learner to a provider at UCSF gives me the opportunity to learn and thrive in a supportive environment that values physicians who strive to be community leaders and patient advocates. I am beyond excited to be a part of the UCSF OB/GYN family!

When I’m not in the hospital, I enjoy spending my time with family and friends while conquering new hiking trails, indulging in delicious foods in SF restaurants, or taking day trips to explore nearby cities. When I’m home, I love to try out new baking recipes or find a quiet place to read and cuddle up with my dog, Nico.
