About Me

I found my passion for reproductive health while leading workshops on sexuality, gender, power, and safer sex in both Providence, Rhode Island and New York City. I found it meaningful to help folks navigate emotionally charged discussions, to make health information accessible, and to encourage people to advocate for themselves. In medical school, I discovered that the field of OBGYN would allow me to continue this work and more. I loved contributing to teams caring for women in vulnerable moments, developing therapeutic relationships, and engaging in meaningful research with interdisciplinary impact. I am so excited that I get to work with amazing colleagues and patients every day for my whole career.

I chose to continue my training in OBGYN at UCSF because of the institution’s commitment to social justice and the faculty-wide focus on the intersection of patient care, advocacy, and research. I feel very fortunate to learn from such dedicated and accomplished residents and faculty.

Outside of medicine, you’ll find me spending time with friends and family, running, planning complicated hiking trips, cooking vegetarian feasts, and making strange crafts, often all at the same time!
