About Me

Why OB/GYN?

I had an inkling going into medical school that I would pursue a career as an OBGYN, and my clinical experiences in medical school solidified that decision. I am drawn to our role as specialists who still have an incredible breadth of practice. I was also drawn to the unique privilege that this field affords us to care for patients during their happiest as well as their most difficult moments. Finally, my drive to be an advocate for reproductive justice made OBGYN an easy choice.

Why UCSF?

UCSF is the place to be for incredible clinical and surgical training paired with an unmatched commitment to social and reproductive justice. I was drawn to this program’s mission which it is deeply committed to while also being able to provide world-class training.

What I do outside of residency?

There’s so much to do in San Francisco! I love to spend my free time discovering new museum exhibits or making my way through the great bakeries and independent bookstores that the city has to offer. I enjoy hiking and playing tennis, as well as painting and knitting. When I’m not at work, I try and prioritize spending time with my partner, family, friends, and my cat!
