About Me

After earning my bachelor’s degree at an all women’s college, working in a field dedicated to women was a natural fit for me. I have always been passionate about women’s access to healthcare and being a provider who supports women during some of the most exciting and painful moments of their lives seemed like the perfect way to dedicate my training. During medical school, I was touched by the young women I encountered in a support group for pregnant and parenting teenagers. It was these ladies who helped me evolve into an ob/gyn who is forever conscientious of her patient’s experience and the importance of a kind bedside manner.

I am inspired by the UCSF mission to put patient care first. This mission, combined with their dedication to research and patient advocacy made this program an unbelievable opportunity. I was born and raised in Palo Alto, I am so excited to care for women in this area—it has been a dream of mine since before medical school.

In my spare time, you may find me hiking, watching movies, or at the barn riding horses. I am a PADI certified SCUBA diver and live for my next dive! I also love spending time with my fur baby (my cat), Madison, who is named after the San Francisco Giants pitcher, Madison Bumgarner.
