2014 - 2015 Medical Student Researcher - University of Pennsylvania - Performed retrospective cost analysis of quality improvement project in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Intensive Care Nursery.
2012 Medical Student -Research Assistant - MacGregor Infectious Disease Clinic - Performed patient follow up in study examining the effects of a post-discharge Infectious Disease Transition Service (IDTS) on outcomes for patients on outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy.
2010 Pre-medical Research Assistant - Seattle Children's Hospital Emergency Department - Assisted in entry and management of data for study investigating effectiveness of the rotavirus vaccine.
2005 Undergraduate Student Researcher - Round River Conservation Studies, Damaraland, Namibia - Designed and implemented wildlife and vegetation surveys for the Namibian government while living and working with local NGO employees. Findings helped shape conservation plans for resource-limited rural communities.
2005 Student - Hopkins Marine Station - Sailed a 3000 n.mile course with student team and completed original research on mid-ocean eddies.
