Neda Ghaffari, MD is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist (perinatologist) whose clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with high-risk pregnancies. Her areas of expertise include advanced obstetric ultrasound, management of pregnancies complicated by fetal anomalies, and care of patients with complex maternal medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cancer. She performs specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures, including fetal echocardiography, nuchal translucency screening, and amniocentesis.
Dr. Ghaffari’s scholarly work focuses on advancing maternal-fetal care through technological innovation, patient safety initiatives, and strategies to optimize outcomes for pregnant patients with obesity, hypertension, and diabetes.
She received her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at LAC+USC Medical Center, and completed fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Ghaffari is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the American Medical Association.
