Obstetrics, Gynecology & Gynecologic Subspecialties (OGGS)
The OGGS Division offers patients the full range of gynecologic and obstetric services. Our physicians and nurse practitioners are leaders in their fields and provide gynecologic care from the annual exam, problems with menstruation, and managing menopause symptoms, to complex gynecologic surgical needs. Our skilled and knowledgeable teams partner with our patients to maintain health, treat disease, and discuss sexual health & birth control options.

Division Highlights
UCSF Health's obstetrics and gynecology team provides top-quality care that is tailored to each patient's needs and wishes. We treat the full spectrum of obstetrical and gynecologic health concerns, from routine gynecological and pregnancy care to highly specialized services for family planning, dysplasia, fibroids, endometrial polyps, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, menopause, sexual health, high-risk pregnancy, lactation challenges and more.
We work closely with nurses, nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, behavioral health specialists and our patients to fulfill our mission: to provide all patients who come to us with the highest-quality care and with the information needed to make knowledgeable decisions about their health.
For patients who need it, we offer seamless transition to UCSF's renowned specialists. Our facilities include the private, state-of-the-art Birth Center, one of the nation's finest intensive care nurseries and a dedicated women's health resource center. We operate at several UCSF surgical facilities that offer the highest level of team-based care.
