Undergraduate Medical Education Program

UCSF’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Medical Education Program consistently ranks #1 in specialty education program overall. We provide an unparalleled foundation in women’s health, integrated throughout the innovative Bridges Curriculum. From the first week of medical school, students gain hands-on clinical experience. With opportunities for simulation learning, research, and mentorship, students explore the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology. This immersive approach offers many pathways to pursue careers in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences.

Undergraduate Research Internship

Founded in 2009, the UCSF/ Kaiser Permanente Undergraduate Research Internship (URI) was created to build a supportive pathway for underrepresented University of California, Berkeley, students interested in a career in medicine to address specific challenges these students face.
