Our Ob/Gyn Hospital Division offers inpatient hospital services with a focus on enhancing outcomes for our labor and delivery and gynecology patients.
The members of our OB/GYN hospital medicine division provide crucial coverage for our high-acuity Labor & Delivery Unit, as well as complex surgical obstetric cases. They collaborate with other divisions to expand urgent gynecologic services in our Obstetric Emergency Department.
UCSF has the only academic hospitalist program north of Los Angeles. Our program offers the opportunity for teaching in real-time at the bedside or in the operating room. As experts in patient obstetrics, we provide a frontline safety net and provide care that improves outcomes around childbirth.
