Reasons to see a Lactation Consultant

Prenatally:

  • You had problems with the first baby
  • You have inverted nipples
  • Have had breast surgery
  • Other medical conditions which you think may make it hard to breastfeed

After you have your baby:

  • You are having nipple or breast pain
  • Milk supply issues
  • You are separated from your baby
  • Twins or Multiples
  • Latch problems
  • Your baby acts very sleepy for most of the feeding
  • Your baby is not gaining weight well

Join our weekly breastfeeding support group MILK. Free to attend, pre-registration is required.
