Echi Anoruo
Dr. Onyemaechi Anoruo is an obstetrician and gynecologist who cares primarily for people giving birth in the hospital. She has a particular interest in improving how patients experience birth and birth outcomes on labor and delivery, while keeping them safe. She completed her residency training at Kaiser Permanente Oakland Medical Center after earning a Medical Doctorate and Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of California, Los Angeles. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Health Care Delivery from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. She is passionate about global maternal health, health equity and racial disparities, particularly in obstetric care of birthing people. She also serves on the Public Health Committee for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, advocating for continued advancement in maternal health for the California district.
