Services and Programs
Nurse-midwives provide holistic prenatal care for low-risk pregnancies. We arrange for the patient to be cared for by the same nurse-midwife throughout their pregnancy. This helps ensure a safe delivery of their baby at the hospital. We are proud to provide full-time, hospital-based nurse midwifery service in San Francisco.
Our CNM team was the first on the West Coast to implement the Centering Pregnancy model. This model, which brings pregnant people together for group prenatal care and to build community, has been shown to support better outcomes. Today, we offer Centering groups in Spanish and through our Black Centering program, which focuses on advancing Black maternal health and equity while welcoming all eligible patients.
