VA Fellowship Application Process

The San Francisco VA Advanced Fellowship in Women’s Health Program will enroll one fellow each year. Applicants must have a Medical Degree (MD) and have completed an approved residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Fellows will be selected based on academic promise, research interest and experience, and demonstrated excellence in clinical care and teaching. US citizenship is required.

Fellowship application review will begin December 15 are will continue until January 31. Final decisions will be made by March 1. The Fellowship will begin on July 1 and end on June 30 two years later.

APPLICATION

To apply, send the following:

  1. Curriculum vitae
  2. A 1-2 page description of why you are interested in the program, including your objectives, clinical and research interests and goals, and how acceptance into the program can help you accomplish these. Include anything else you would like us to know about your background and experience.
  3. Three letters of recommendation, at least 1 from someone with whom you have conducted research.
