Group Prenatal Care

EMBRACE Group Prenatal Care provides affirming, whole-person support throughout pregnancy and into the postpartum period. Beginning with a referral at 10–12 weeks of pregnancy, participants receive integrated perinatal mental health care, patient navigation and resource linkage, lactation consultation, and fourth trimester support. Services continue through six months after delivery, with the option to extend care based on individual needs.

Our families make a conscious choice to be in our program. They are saying yes to prenatal care that uplifts, ancestral traditions, and intuitive practices, they are saying yes to mental health support that is grounded in spiritual awareness, discernment self-determination and liberation.

Perinatal Loss Mental Health

EMBRACE provides compassionate support for individuals and families experiencing the profound grief of pregnancy or infant loss. Services are available following miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss, stillbirth, neonatal death, medical termination for maternal or fetal health reasons, or traumatic birth outcomes involving infant loss. Individuals may be referred within one year of their loss and receive personalized mental health care alongside patient navigation and resource linkage. Initial services are provided for up to 12 weeks, with the option to extend support for an additional 12 weeks based on individual needs.

It feels great to have a space where I know I can lay my armor down and not engage in a game of translation. I don’t have to look over my shoulder when I’m here. We can be Black, Queer, and accepted here.

EMBRACE is for more than just surviving. It’s about thriving, about living, about being our full selves. We celebrate life. We celebrate family. We celebrate joy. Black joy. EMBRACE is unapologetically Black. It is a space where we can find respite, compassion, and safety through daily harms of living as a Black person. So when you think to yourself, what is their secret sauce? Why does EMBRACE work? It’s us.
