In April, we made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 URI program. Due to COVID-19, in-person learning was cancelled and many research projects scaled back. However, Dr. Robertson was able to secure four remote research projects and offer them to some of our accepted interns of the Class of 2020, focusing on those who would be ineligible to return in 2021. All research activities, didactic and social activities were conducted online - including the Research Symposium. But we managed to get through with four amazing researchers and their fantastic presentations!
