Research/Clinical Interests:
As a Urogynecologist, Dr. Shatkin-Margolis' clinical interests center around female pelvic floor disorders. She has advanced training in the diagnosis and management of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, genitourinary and rectovaginal fistulas, overactive bladder and bladder pain syndrome.
Dr. Shatkin-Margolis' research interests include improving patient-centered care and surgical outcomes, along with investigating disparities in care of women with pelvic floor disorders. She has a passion for teaching and has earned numerous awards for her didactic and surgical teaching of trainees.
