Research/Clinical Interests
Since creating the Comprehensive Fibroid Center in 2001, Dr. Jacoby's primary clinical interest is helping women with symptomatic uterine fibroids. Dr. Jacoby's clinical practice also includes women with a variety of gynecology and obstetrical issues, from dysplasia to infertility and from menopause to birth control management. In the coming year, she hopes to develop a program for providing office-based procedures to our patients.
Dr. Jacoby's other areas of interest include: uterine artery embolization, selective progesterone receptor modulators, obstetric complications of fibroids, radiofrequency ablation, myolysis, hysterectomy decision analysis, minimally invasive surgery, and robotic surgery.
